INTRO

 

This is the first in a series of short informal articles that relate

to digital mode operations.  They will be developed from a variety

of sources and will likely appear on a bi-weekly basis.  The goal 

here is to provide information that can be useful to members

already working digital, or to those thinking about trying a digital

mode for the first time.

 

TODAY'S TOPIC:  Saving your Volume Control settings

 

1. Rebooting or switching between programs that use your

sound card can cause your last finely tuned volume control settings

to change.  This new or default setting may no longer be suitable

for the current program.

 

2. You can save those tailored slider settings and retrieve them as

you wish by using a freeware program called QuickMixIn.exe.  The
